The renewal clock does not pause.

Arizona real estate licenses renew every two years. Salespersons and associate brokers need 24 hours of ADRE-approved continuing education: three hours each in Commissioner's Standards, agency law, contract law, disclosure, fair housing, and real estate legal issues, plus one hour each in Firewise, deed fraud, and Arizona water for renewals starting in 2025. Designated and self-employed brokers need 30 hours, including the broker management clinics.

Superior Real Estate School exists for one reason: to make every one of those hours count. The person at the front of the room is the broker himself, not a stand-in, so the rules arrive with 40 years of real transactions behind them.

The Instructor
Todd J. Smith, licensed Arizona broker and certified real estate instructor
Todd J. Smith · Associate Broker · Certified Instructor

One instructor. One phone number. 40 years of context.

Todd J. Smith grew up on an Iowa farm, earned a business degree at Iowa State University, and built a Phoenix career in mortgage lending before becoming a full-time Realtor in 2011. Close to 3,000 escrows later, he became a certified instructor in 2015, then a managing broker, and in 2022 he founded Superior Real Estate School to teach renewal hours from the transaction floor, not a script.

The goal of every class: you leave a better agent, not just a more compliant one.
